Adam and Kathryn are the type of couple that as soon as you meet them you can’t help but warm to them immediately.

This infectious warmth created a truly wonderful wedding day that had everyone smiling from start to finish.

The day started with a trip over to The Cutting Room Beauty Boutique in Scissett, Huddersfield for the bridal preparation part of the day.  Here I met the bride to be Kathryn, with her bridesmaid’s and mum who were all being pampered and enjoying the morning.

From here I moved onto Kathryn’s mums house for the detail shots of the dress, shoes, flowers and the amazing car that was waiting to take them all to the church.

Thornhill Baptist Church was where the service was held and as Kathryn walked into the church you could see the delight in Adams face as she walked towards him with the help of her brother Tom.

During the service Kathryn’s uncle addressed the congregation, which added a real personal touch to the wedding and made it that extra special.

After the service we all headed to Kings Croft Hotel in Pontefract.  The new Mr and Mrs Bell were greeted on their arrival by a huge brass band that played during the drinks reception.  I love a brass band and I had to remind myself that I was there to take photos and not listen to the amazing music!

Kathryn and Adam were such a pleasure to photograph and with their relaxed nature made it so easy for me to be able to capture some stunning wedding images for them.

A wedding day goes by so quickly and before I knew it, it was also time for the cake cutting and first dance.  But I did manage to take them out one more time for another little shoot of just the two of them before the last formal part of the day took place.

The whole day from start to finish was magical.  I would love to be able to shoot it again just so that I get to hang out with this amazing couple one more time.   Even if Adam is a Huddersfield Town fan which I sadly only just found out about during the wedding speeches!

I wish Kathryn and Adam all the very best for the future and hope that they have a fantastic honeymoon in Italy!!
