The Hancock Wedding| Dimplewell Lodge Wedding Photography| Wakefield Wedding Photography
On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Sally and Matts wedding at the beautiful Dimplewell lodge in Ossett.
Having already photographed three of their friends weddings so far the pressure was on (in a good way) to capture their wedding just as well as I had the others.
Dimplewell Lodge has a little cottage to the side where Sally and her bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding. When I turned up they were all in great spirits and looked very fetching in their “Friends” Central Perk PJs.
I made sure that I captured the details of the dress, shoes and most importantly the perfume, which was “Channel”. I told you it would get a special mention Sally!
With Sally getting ready on site it made it very easy to flirt between the bridal party and Matt and his ushers when they arrived. This gave me a great opportunity to capture some pictures of the groom relaxing with the guests before Sally had to make the walk down the aisle.
The whole day had a wonderful relaxed feeling to it from garden games on the lawn to the speeches being delivered on the roof top balcony. Followed by a fish and chip wedding breakfast with a delicious ice cream to finish off.
With so much going on it really wasn’t hard to capture people enjoying themselves and when it came to preparing the photographs for the evening slideshow I had my work cut out to keep the number of images to a manageable amount. Thankfully I managed it and as always the slideshow was a great hit with the guests as they got to view what had happened during the day.
When it came to my time to leave it took me a while to say my goodbyes due to the fact I knew so many people from past weddings. But I have to say I do love seeing past bride and grooms and being able to catch up with them all. Hopefully there will be a few more to come!!
I would just like to take this opportunity to wish the new Mr And Mrs Hancock all the very best for the future and thank them for allowing me to be a part of their amazing day.
